Thecar had done 10,000 miles in that time however it was purchased from a reputable dealer who had serviced the car, and as i say it was a Ford Direct car. I have had the car now for 5 months and on 3 occassions i have had the amber warning 'Engine Malfunction - Service Now' come up on the display between the dashboard dials.
After3 more miles, it broke down (lost all engine power), but I could still drive it normally after waiting for 5-10 minutes. I then took it to a Ford dealership and after 3 days they told me they couldn't find anything wrong with it, which is obviously bullshit. I mean I'm sure they'd love to take my money, but it makes no sense.
